Adulteration strips
Drug Tests
Adulteration is the term given to tampering with a urine specimen with the intention of altering the test results. Dilution by drinking excess water may be attempted in an effort to flush the drug from the system ahead of upcoming drug screening. Other adulterants such as bleach and other chemicals will destroy the test, and no control line will form. These dip and read adulteration strips for urine will test the sample for concentration of creatinine which detects abnormal dilution factors. The Adulteration test detects other common substances added to the sample to avoid the results from forming.

  • Each strip tests for:
  • Creatinine
  • Nitrite
  • Glutaraldehyde
  • pH
  • Specific gravity
  • Oxidations/pyridinium chlorochromate
